What will you be doing in this role?

The Nutrition Care Representative 'NCR' would be responsible for the provision of quality food and beverage services to patients in the Outpatient Cancer Center. Assist the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor and Clinical Dietitians as needed

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for adhering to food safety standards and maintaining sanitary conditions in all food service areas.
• Responsible to upkeep cleanliness and maintenance of food service equipment
• Responsible for receiving/ stocking daily food/supply deliveries and maintaining an organized storage area

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma/GED required.

Licensure/Certification:

• Food Safety Certification preferred (ie ServSafe, Prometric, etc.)
• Must obtain California Food Handler card within 30 days of date of hire

Experience:

• Two (2) years Food Service experience preferred. Works effectively with minimal supervision. Person must be ethical, honest and trustworthy
