Nights Niro Operator

We are currently seeking a Niro Operator to join the Fond du Lac team.

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift 6pm-6am

The Niro Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of the dryer.

• Operations

  • Talk with the outgoing operator to understand current equipment and production conditions.
  • Review records from the previous shift and keep accurate records, including bag weights, run numbers, production logs, and Clean-in-Place (CIP) logs.
  • Follow production schedules and make sure incoming products meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor dryer and evaporator settings, CIP progress, and product requirements.
  • Adjust dryer settings based on moisture levels and product needs.
  • Check lecithin spray patterns, fluid beds, and sifters to make sure they are working properly.
  • Check High Protein Permeate (HPP) equipment after CIP for buildup and remove it as needed.
  • Track product lines and product locations throughout the production process.

  Quality & Testing

  • Complete required product testing, including mixability, scorched particles, potential of hydrogen (pH), protein, moisture, fat, and cholesterol.
  • Review and adjust addback formulas as needed.
  • Help with DF and HPP changes and make sure Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks are completed on time.
  • Track inventory moving in and out of the addback room.
  • Review dryer records to make sure they are accurate and complete

  Sanitation & Safety

  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Follow the daily sanitation schedule and complete required cleaning.
  • Safely operate a company forklift and maintain required certification.
