We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Night Auditor who can keep things running smoothly while the rest of the city sleeps.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours, ensuring a friendly and seamless experience.

• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, requests, and concerns with professionalism and confidence.

• Complete daily financial audits, reconcile transactions, and ensure accurate reporting.

• Process payments, verify guest accounts, and balance daily revenue.

• Prepare nightly reports and ensure a smooth transition for the morning team.

• Monitor hotel activity and help maintain a safe, secure environment for guests and team members.

• Respond to guest needs and unexpected situations with sound judgment and a solutions-focused approach.

• Communicate important overnight updates to hotel leadership and the incoming team.

• Support front desk operations and other hotel departments as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and basic accounting or cash-handling skills.

• Excellent communication and guest service abilities.

• Comfortable working independently and making decisions when needed.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel property management systems preferred.

• Reliable attendance and availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

The Hotel may consider equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience providing the knowledge, skills and abilities cited below, when applicable

• Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable accounts payable, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests. Must have excellent telephone etiquette skills.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

• Ability to stand and move throughout front office and continuously performs essential job functions.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds maximum.
• Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking.
• Frequent talking, hearing, seeing and smiling.
