The Mortgage Loan Processor plays a critical role in the home loan approval process by reviewing, verifying, and preparing loan files for underwriting. This position ensures all borrower documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with federal, state, and investor guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- Experience in mortgage processing, loan operations, or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending regulations, and underwriting guidelines (FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional).
- Proficiency with loan origination systems (LOS) and standard office software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
