About the role
The Medical Assistant supports the Remote Patient Monitoring program by reviewing remotely transmitted blood pressure readings and following established protocols to notify licensed clinical staff of abnormal readings or patient concerns. Responsibilities include contacting patients regarding missing readings, assisting with device setup and troubleshooting, reinforcing approved monitoring instructions, and documenting patient interactions. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills and works under the direction of licensed clinical staff.
