About the role
The role of the Manager-QS is to support post-contract commercial management of data center projects from an Employer perspective, including cost control, contract administration, variation and payment management ensuring compliance with contractual and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage interim payment applications (IPCs), valuation and certification
- Assess and negotiate variations, change orders and contractor claims
- Maintain cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections
- Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC or equivalent forms
- Support final account preparation and close-out
- Ensure compliance with commercial governance and audit requirements
- Coordinate with PMT, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 8–12 years total QS / Commercial experience
- Minimum 5 years in data center or mission-critical projects
- Strong post-contract experience (payments, variations, claims)
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of FIDIC or standard forms of contract
