About the role
What you'll bring to the team
Maintenance Technician
SEA LIFE San Antonio
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and provide basic maintenance for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Apply hands-on knowledge and experience to tackle problems to sustain minimal downtime of themed attractions for the maximum guest experience.
- Position functions will include but not limited to custodial duties, re-lamping & lighting systems, painting and wall repair, tech equipment, shipping and receiving as well as exhibit setup and takedown. Maintaining and troubleshooting Audio Visual equipment for both old and new exhibits.
- Install and/or replace light bulbs, projector lamps, doors, etc.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain attraction systems, rides, and equipment.
- Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments
- Complete “Preventative Maintenance” tasks (Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, etc.).
- Set-up and install data cables as needed; install and repair computer outlets and computer bundles.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards.
- Observes safe working practices, including maintaining storage areas clean, organized and in safe condition.
- Able to set-up and operate various hand tools and power equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or GED required
- At least two years of maintenance experience preferred
- Experience of maintaining flexibility and the highest level of service.
