About Ready Foods
Ready Foods is a Denver-based, family-owned food manufacturer on a transformation journey. While rooted in more than five decades of manufacturing excellence, we are building the next generation of food manufacturing by combining Lean principles, Industry 4.0 technologies, digital transformation and systems thinking.

Our culture is built on respect for people, operational excellence, learning, collaboration and a relentless pursuit of improvement. We are looking for individuals who want to help shape the future of manufacturing while making a meaningful impact on our customers, employees and community.
About the Role
Ready Foods is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day-to-day work of our Industrial Maintenance Mechanics and help improve the reliability of our equipment and facilities.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands industrial maintenance, can develop people and can balance immediate production needs with the preventive work necessary to improve long-term equipment performance.
The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate maintenance activities, support preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues and work closely with Operations, Engineering and other teams to reduce downtime and continuously improve our maintenance systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop Industrial Maintenance Mechanics
- Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities based on production and equipment priorities
- Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and equipment performance issues
- Ensure maintenance activities meet safety, food safety and sanitation requirements
- Conduct equipment and facility inspections and coordinate corrective actions
- Maintain accurate work orders, equipment history and preventive maintenance schedules through the CMMS
- Manage parts, supplies and maintenance inventory
- Coordinate contractors and outside service providers
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, FSQA and other teams to solve problems and improve equipment performance
- Apply Lean thinking, root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement to maintenance practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Experience leading, supervising or developing maintenance employees
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability programs
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize competing maintenance needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on leadership style
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement preferred
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- Technical degree, certification or bachelor’s degree preferred
The Leader We’re Looking For
You’ll be successful here if you enjoy developing people while staying close to the work. You understand that strong maintenance is not just about responding when equipment breaks. It is about building systems that prevent problems, improve reliability and make the work safer and easier for the people operating and maintaining our equipment.
You bring a practical problem-solving mindset, work well across functions and look for root causes rather than quick fixes. You set clear expectations, build capability within your team and continually look for better ways to maintain and improve our equipment.
This isn’t an opportunity to simply keep equipment running. It’s an opportunity to help Ready Foods build a stronger, more proactive and reliable maintenance system for the future.
