Machine operator - On-call substitute - Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for On-Call Machine Operators for our production unit in Mo i Rana. The unit supplies all types of bank cards to Norwegian and international banks, as well as a range of products and services to public-sector organisations. The unit is equipped with modern machinery, and the work requires a high level of precision.

Using automation, data, AI and cloud technology, supported by hands-on guidance, we help banks modernise their core systems, strengthen trust and deliver a better banking experience.

Our production unit is made up of motivated employees with extensive expertise in their respective fields. We are looking for on-call Machine Operators who work well as part of a team, are methodical and accurate, and can work efficiently to help us meet our production targets while maintaining the required quality. You will receive all the training you need to succeed in the role.

 

Responsibilities

• Take part in the day-to-day running of the production line
• Ensure that agreed priorities are followed
• Carry out ongoing quality checks
• Perform basic maintenance on production machinery and other equipment
• Keep up to date with the company’s comprehensive quality management system
• Work may involve shifts, including two- or three-shift schedules

 

You don’t need previous experience or formal qualifications to apply. We’ll provide the training you need. What matters most is that you’re interested in learning, comfortable using computers and technical equipment, and able to communicate in Norwegian and English.
