About the role
Position Overview
At Mt. Hood Meadows, we believe in “The Perpetual Stoke”— creating an awesome work environment so our team can deliver unforgettable mountain experiences. As a Lift Operations Lead, you’ll help bring that philosophy to life by supporting lift crews, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring guests enjoy safe, smooth, and welcoming rides across the mountain. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced Lift Operations team member who leads by example.
Working closely with Section Supervisors and fellow leads, you’ll help train, coach, and support Lift Attendants, Operators, and Access personnel while maintaining high standards for safety, efficiency, and guest service. You’ll help oversee daily lift operations, coordinate crew breaks, support pre-operational checks, lead snow removal and other projects, and ensure equipment and lift areas are ready for the day. Your communication, organization, and ability to respond to changing conditions will help keep operations running smoothly.
We’re looking for an experienced, dependable, and safety-minded team member with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for helping others succeed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced mountain environment, enjoys working outdoors in challenging winter conditions, and takes pride in developing teammates and delivering exceptional guest experiences. If you’re ready to take the next step in Lift Operations and help spread the stoke across the mountain, we encourage you to apply!
