Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Vocational Nurse San Angelo, TX. This is a great full-time opportunity, 40 hours work week schedule, Monday to Friday, excluding Federal holidays. KEY REQUIREMENTS
Administer medications and treatments, including oral, rectal, and injectable medications, according to established protocols.
Perform nursing procedures and monitor individuals' health conditions.
Document observations, nursing interventions, and other clinical information accurately.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding individuals' conditions and care needs.
Respond to medical emergencies and follow established emergency procedures.
Adhere to infection control practices and facility safety protocols.
Collect specimens and perform screening tests as required.
Educate individuals on health goals and encourage appropriate health practices.
Assist with turning, repositioning, and other supportive care activities as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system or paper charts.
Follow facility policies and applicable nursing standards.
