The Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide additional support within the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will play a key role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential across the curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students with a range of learning needs both in and out of the classroom.
Working alongside teaching staff to deliver effective learning support strategies.
Promoting student independence, confidence, and engagement.
Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
Providing pastoral support and helping to maintain a positive learning environment.
Monitoring student progress and contributing to support plans where required.
Supporting the school's commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
Building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
