About the role
Laundry Assistant
- Full-time 40 hour work weeks
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- One Saturday a month
- Full benefits package starts on day one of employment!
Laundry Assistants participate in the various aspects of laundry processing for residential, personal care, and nursing care residents and for facility laundry as assigned.
Position Duties
- Loads and unloads dryers.
- Folds and irons, identifying clothing in need of mending.
- Restocks linen rooms in each household and distributes personal clothing.
- Demonstrates dependability, competence, accuracy and is observant.
- Adheres to compliance policies regarding confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and resident and client rights.
- Complies with regulatory agency standards and applicable policies and procedures.
- Complies with safety and infection control protocols in all aspects of the job.
- Attends in-services and team meetings as required for role.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
