The Kitchen Stewarding Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen. This position involves washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as ensuring that workstations and storage areas are clean and organized. The Kitchen Stewarding Assistant also assists in waste management, recycling, and inventory control. 1. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
2. Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen areas, and storage spaces.
3. Assist in waste management and recycling processes.
4. Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and chemicals.
5. Support kitchen staff by transporting food, equipment, and supplies as needed.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
7. Assist in inventory control by organizing and monitoring kitchen supplies.
8. Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.
9. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Ability to operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
