What You Will Do:

Write, test and maintain software features across backend services, frontend web applications, or cloud components under the guidance of senior engineering mentors.

Write reliable automated tests to ensure high code quality, system robustness and early bug detection.

Engage in daily standups, sprint grooming, code reviews and help configure automated CI/CD pipelines.

Work closely with product managers, UX designers and senior developers to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

What You Will Learn

Gain hands-on exposure to industrial-grade codebases, design patterns and enterprise system architectures.

Learn how production applications are built, scanned for security vulnerabilities, tested and deployed automatically.

Understand how cross-functional engineering teams collaborate using Scrum framework, Git workflows, and collaborative tools.

Qualifications You Must Have *

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Strong foundational knowledge of core Computer Science principles: Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Software Design.

Practical coding experience in at least one modern programming language (such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript).

Familiarity with web frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot or FastAPI).

Familiarity with Version Control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub/GitLab).

Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, paired with strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Qualifications We Prefer

Basic understanding of Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technology (Docker, Kubernetes).

Write clean, maintainable and efficient code. Build unit and integration tests to ensure reliable feature coverage.

Participate in performance profiling, code reviews and debugging to enhance system responsiveness and system health.

Assist in configuring automated CI/CD build pipelines, test automation suites, and security scans.

Active participation in daily standups, sprint planning, back-log grooming, and retrospectives.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
