Department: Maintenance
Hourly Rate: $34.57
Shift: Straight 1st 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM / Monday - Friday
The Industrial Lift Mechanic will repair or replace minor and major system components, including electrical parts hydraulics, mechanical, L.P. systems, power steering, transmissions and engines. This position will also troubleshoot forklift related issues and perform proper preventative maintenance (PMs) in a timely manner. The Industrial Lift Mechanic will also service and repair other miscellaneous types of equipment including electric carts, trailers and yard equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Forklift Mechanic.
Must be willing to work 1st shift.
Must pass pre-employment testing to include background check, drug test, physical, functional capacity & respirator exams.
Job requires frequent reaching above shoulders, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching.
Must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics.
Ability to work in a team environment.
