About the role
The Team Leader – Housekeeping supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel’s guest rooms and floors. You’ll help coordinate the team’s daily work, maintain hotel standards and ensure guest requests are handled promptly.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure guest requests and special requirements are actioned promptly and accurately.
- Help prepare daily work allocations and lead briefings for housekeeping attendants.
- Inspect VIP rooms and conduct daily room checks to ensure they meet hotel standards.
- Help plan, organise and direct the team to support an efficient housekeeping operation.
- Monitor expenses, payroll, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and laundry use.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the department.

- Experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- Clear, friendly communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
