About the role
Touchmark at The Ranch is Prescott's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities.
We are currently seeking compassionate and hospitality-minded people to join our growing team as full-time Home Care Caregivers.
Must hold a current AZ Caregiver Certification
Our Home Care Services team serve residents of Touchmark at The Ranch and operates out of our beautiful community. This is an incredibly special opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of another person daily, and to build relationships with some amazing people at the same time.
As a Home Care Caregiver, you will assist residents with a variety of daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes - activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; general housekeeping and laundry tasks; nutritious meal planning and preparation; accompanying on appointments, grocery shopping, and dog walking to name a few. You will also provide something that is so important to everyone: companionship, which may be in the form of reading a book together, going for walks, doing crafts, listening to music together, or just having a simple conversation.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:
Have current Caregiver certification in Arizona
Med Tech Certification (preferred but not required)
Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
