Texas Instruments is currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Specialist focusing on Process Safety Management (PSM) & Risk Management Program (RMP). This role will support multiple manufacturing facilities at our Dallas location.
This position will serve as primary technical resource for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving PSM/RMP programs across applicable campus operations. The specialist will collaborate with Environmental, Safety, Health, and Sustainability (ESHS), Facilities, Manufacturing, and leadership to manage process hazards, and strengthen operational risk management. As business needs and resources allow, you may also share expertise and support process safety initiatives at other TI campuses.
What You Will Do:
- Lead campus-wide implementation and continuous improvement of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA RMP (40 CFR Part 68) requirements across process.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OSHA PSM and EPA RMP programs. Maintain program documentation and process safety information (PSI), coordinating accuracy of chemical hazards, process technology, P&IDs, and equipment information with technical review
- Coordinate process hazard analyses (HAZOP, Checklist, FMEA), revalidations, action tracking, and risk-based reviews
- Administer and improve Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) workflows; verify required reviews, actions, training, and approvals are completed.
- Partner with equipment owners on mechanical integrity (MI), including inspection and test programs, deficiency resolution, and documentation for safety-critical equipment.
- Support RMP hazard assessment, consequence modeling, applicability evaluations, program updates, and regulatory submissions using qualified methods and appropriate technical resources.
- Lead process safety incident and near miss investigations; identify technical and systemic root causes, assign corrective actions, and verify effectiveness
- Develop and communicate leading and lagging process safety indicators, trends, and priorities to site leadership.
- Collaborate with emergency response and operations teams on covered process emergency planning, drills, contractor interfaces, and relevant training.
- Share lessons learned and provide PSM/RMP technical consultation to other TI campuses when feasible, while prioritizing assigned campus obligations.
Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.
Minimum Requirements:
