About AFRY Food 

AFRY Food is a dedicated business segment serving the food and beverage industry across the Nordic region and beyond. 

We support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their production facilities, from early studies and concept development to detailed engineering, project execution, and operational improvements.  

Our experts work with leading food companies to improve efficiency, product quality, sustainability, and competitiveness while meeting increasingly stringent requirements for food safety, traceability, and environmental performance.  

We deliver everything from specialist consulting assignments to large multidisciplinary engineering and EPC or EPCM projects, bringing together expertise in process engineering, automation, project management, digitalization, and quality assurance. As an independent advisor, free from ties to specific technologies or suppliers, we always focus on delivering the best solution for our clients. 

About the position 

As Head of Food Norway, you will lead a team of 15 highly skilled consultants and engineers serving some of Norway's leading food companies.  

AFRY Food Norway has a strong market position, an established customer base, and clear potential for further growth. You will play a key role in developing the section further, while ensuring high-quality project delivery and strong customer relationships. 

This is a leadership role where you will develop the team, drive sales and growth, and manage the day-to-day operations of the section. 

As a member of the AFRY Food Management Team, you will contribute to the segment’s strategy and lead the growth of Food in Norway. You will work closely with colleagues across the Nordics to bring together the right expertise for our customers. 

The position reports directly to the Head of Segment Food.  

Your key responsibilities:  

• Driving sales and business development 

• Leading and developing the team, including recruitment 

• Managing the project portfolio 

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the section 

• Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships

Kvalifikasjoner

Who We Are Looking For 

We believe you are an experienced leader with a passion for people, business development, and customer value creation. 

We are looking for someone with: 

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, technology, business or a related field 

• Proven experience in leadership and people management 

• Experience driving business growth, sales, and customer development 

• Strong understanding of project-based business and project management. Preferably experience from EPC projects 

• Commercial acumen and experience with financial follow-up and business planning 

• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English 

Experience from the food industry is highly valued. However, we also welcome candidates with leadership experience from other process industries or technical consulting environments.
