Hair Stylist

Description

As a Hair Stylist at milk + honey, you’ll provide personalized haircuts, hair coloring, styling, and hair treatments in a welcoming salon setting. Through thoughtful consultations, technical expertise, and creativity, you’ll help each guest feel confident, cared for, and refreshed. Salon-provided guests, ongoing education, and benefits support your professional growth and your life beyond the chair. We cover back-bar product costs so you can focus on your guests and develop your craft.

What you’ll do

• Provide haircuts, hair coloring, styling, and hair treatments tailored to each guest’s goals
• Build lasting guest relationships through thoughtful consultations and personalized care
• Recommend products that support each guest’s hair needs and at-home routine
• Maintain a clean, organized station and follow sanitation and safety standards
• Continue developing your technical skills through ongoing education

What you’ll bring

• A current Texas cosmetology license
• At least two years behind the chair in a full-service salon
• A commitment to thoughtful guest service and continued professional growth

Pay + career growth

• 40% service commission during your first quarter, with your commission rate determined each quarter by your service revenue, up to 54%
• Keep 100% of your gratuities
• Earn 10% commission on product sales

• An annual education fund starting at $400, with increased funding as you advance in level

Schedule

This role requires at least one weekend day each week—Saturday or Sunday. Specific days and shift start times vary by location and available position.
