Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and organized Full-Time Home Manager to join our team in Giles County, TN!

Position Overview

As a Home Manager, you will help oversee the daily operations of a residential home supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines direct care responsibilities with staff supervision and household management.

Our goal is to help the individuals we support live fulfilling, independent lives while maintaining their dignity, safety, and personal choices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned residential home.
• Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and community participation.
• Supervise, guide, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance, and ensuring adequate coverage.
• Ensure the home is clean, safe, organized, and properly maintained.
• Monitor documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with PDI and state requirements.
• Ensure individuals receive services according to their Individual Support Plans (ISPs) or Person-Centered Support Plans (PCSPs).
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring in accordance with required training and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, nursing staff, families, and other members of the support team.
• Report incidents, concerns, and changes in the health or well-being of individuals supported.
• Promote independence, community involvement, and person-centered support.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous direct support, caregiving, residential, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle employee concerns professionally and follow the proper chain of command
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and complete required documentation in English
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work the assigned schedule
• A patient, respectful, and supportive approach
• A genuine commitment to helping people live safe, meaningful, and independent lives
