Ready to Lead an Exceptional Guest Experience?
You love hospitality, leading a team through a busy service, making guests feel welcome, and keeping operations running smoothly.
We’re seeking a hands-on Food and Beverage Manager to lead daily dining and beverage service in a unique waterfront setting. This role combines team leadership, guest service, and operational ownership, with opportunities to strengthen your financial and administrative skills.
Our guests join us for memorable food, exceptional service, and an experience they can’t find anywhere else. You’ll help bring it all together!
What Makes This Role Different?
Our food and beverage program includes brunch, lunch, and elevated dinner service, along with private celebrations and special events. Each requires thoughtful preparation, clear communication, and polished execution.
You’ll lead the service team, coordinate closely with culinary and marine operations, and ensure every service feels organized and welcoming. From a pre-shift meeting to resolving a guest concern, your leadership will set the tone.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead daily front-of-house food and beverage operations, including dining, bar service, and event execution.
- Coach, develop, and motivate servers, bartenders, server assistants, and other service staff.
- Remain visible and hands-on during service, supporting the team and engaging with guests.
- Manage schedules, staffing levels, labor costs, and service assignments.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings covering reservations, menus, special requests, and service expectations.
- Partner with the Kitchen Manager to coordinate food timing, presentation, and dietary needs.
- Manage beverage and service-supply ordering, inventory, and stock levels.
- Monitor beverage costs, waste, inventory discrepancies, and purchasing.
- Ensure accurate POS use, cash handling, tip reporting, and closing procedures.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with sales, event services, and marine teams to deliver smooth service.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and vessel safety standards.
- Ensure opening, closing, cleaning, and service-readiness duties are completed.
- Build consistent routines for accountability, communication, and follow-through.
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for:
- Restaurant or dining room managers ready for broader responsibility.
- Assistant Food and Beverage Managers seeking ownership of daily operations.
- Hospitality leaders who enjoy developing teams and delivering attentive, elevated service.
You’ll be successful if you:
- Lead by example and stay calm under pressure.
- Balance guest satisfaction with operational and financial goals.
- Set clear expectations and follow through consistently.
- Notice the details that make service feel polished.
- Enjoy coaching employees and solving problems.
- Communicate effectively across departments.
Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of progressive restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
- Experience managing high-volume dining and beverage service.
- Upscale dining, banquet, or private-event experience preferred.
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and cost controls.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and tip-reporting procedures.
- Strong organizational, communication, and employee-coaching skills.
- ServSafe Manager certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Responsible alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work aboard a vessel, navigate boarding ramps and stairs, and perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Growth Opportunity
As our operation grows, there may be opportunities for advancement, broader responsibility, and expanded food and beverage leadership.
We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us, strengthen their team, and take pride in the experience we deliver.
Benefits
