What You’ll Be Doing
Develop programs for CNC EDM equipment, including fast-hole drilling and sinker EDM machines
Develop documentation for setting up, calibrating, operating, and maintaining equipment within the assigned specialty area
Create operating instructions and checklists for equipment, testing, production processes, and related materials
Take measurements and perform technical evaluations using standard and non-standard methods
Perform calculations, analyze data, prepare graphical representations, and record and report test results
Ensure testing is completed in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
Conduct work within established technical criteria and specifications
Prepare technical report summaries and periodically present findings to internal customers
Troubleshoot equipment issues and help maintain equipment readiness to minimize downtime
Perform safety checks on equipment and safety instruments
Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to less-experienced team members
Support technical communities of practice and continuous improvement initiatives
Handle the movement of gas turbine components and miscellaneous equipment throughout the facility
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by supporting 5S principles
Follow applicable safety, quality, ethical, and intellectual-property requirements
Support compliance with company quality systems and ISO 9000 requirements
What We’re Looking For
Associate degree in a relevant technical specialty, or a high school diploma or GED with equivalent technical work experience
Typically, 3–5 years of engineering technician experience supporting aerospace or industrial gas turbine laboratory, manufacturing, or repair operations
Demonstrated experience with CNC fast-hole drilling and sinker EDM processes
Practical experience working with equipment and processes related to the assigned technical specialty
Experience resolving non-routine technical problems through analysis and troubleshooting
Ability to develop, interpret, and follow technical documentation, operating instructions, and equipment checklists
Ability to perform measurements, analyze technical data, and clearly document results
Ability to work under limited supervision and manage multiple priorities
Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to guide, train, and help organize the work of less-experienced team members
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Willingness to travel periodically

Experience developing CNC EDM programs
Experience preparing and presenting technical reports
Familiarity with continuous improvement and 5S practices
Experience working within ISO 9000 or similar quality-management systems
Experience collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a manufacturing and engineering environment around production equipment and gas turbine components
Regular use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required
The role includes moving gas turbine components and miscellaneous equipment within the facility
