About the role
What’s the role?
Sit at the centre of the Office of the Chief Data, Digital & AI Officer (CDDAIO) and turn external signals, internal priorities and LT visions into DDAI Leadership Team choices. As Executive Manager, Strategy & Performance Intelligence, you’ll lead foresight and strategic intelligence across Data, Digital and AI, running horizon-scanning, strategy days and scenario sessions that track frontier and hyperscaler signals. You’ll lead the DDAI vision, strategy and annual priorities, make trade-offs explicit so resources follow the highest-value outcomes, and run the strategic performance system of GE outcomes, scorecards and benefits to ensure we’re working on the most important outcomes. You’ll go AI-first, deploying approved agents to cut manual effort and lift the quality of executive leverage. You’ll ensure the Board, executive team and our investors hear one evidence-led DDAI story.
What do I need?
You bring senior strategy, performance, transformation or consulting experience from a complex, regulated organisation, and the judgement to shape choices and influence senior executives with clear evidence. You’ll test and align local strategies while LT members keep delivery ownership, challenge benefit and outcome evidence, and surface where reprioritisation is needed. You work through ambiguity to simplify complex AI, data, digital and banking opportunities into one set of priorities and narrative. You’ll apply approved AI to move fast with human review and disciplined validation. You lead through influence across a distributed network, with the confidence to challenge constructively and have a bias towards action and outcomes.
Key skills and experience required include:
- Deep Data, AI and digital expertise, with an AI-first mindset that turns approved AI and automation into faster cycle times and sharper insight
- Senior strategy, performance, transformation or consulting toolkit that means writing a paper, keeping close to detail or a building a dashboard is second nature
- Strong commercial and customer orientation to assess value across growth, productivity, cost, risk and capability
- Outstanding executive presence and influence, the ability to tell a story and take senior stakeholders on a journey
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesise complex issues into a simple, evidence-led narrative for the Board, executives and investors
- Proven ability to build AI first performance systems and execute e reporting, which in turn delivers insights at anytime.
- Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee-only mortgage rates!
- Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave.
- Tailored learning and development opportunities to help your grow your career within the bank.
- Lots of opportunities to ‘give back’ to the Community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives.
