About the role
DAMAC Digital is building the backbone of the AI-driven economy. We design, build and operate AI-ready, hyperscale data centre infrastructure for hyperscalers, cloud providers and enterprises, backed by DAMAC Group's extensive real estate and infrastructure expertise.
Overview
As demand for AI and cloud computing accelerates, we're expanding rapidly and delivering the next generation of mission-critical facilities that will power businesses, innovation and connectivity for years to come.
We are growing fast across multiple campuses, and our projects team delivers the facilities that keep that infrastructure running. A data centre fit-out only runs smoothly when everyone is working from the right drawing, the right revision and the right approval.
As Document Controller (Fit Out), you will own that control. You will manage the registers, transmittals, submittals and records for our data centre fit-out works, so that engineers, contractors and consultants always work from current, approved information and so that handover documentation is complete, traceable and audit-ready.
What you'll be doing
Run the document control system for all data centre fit-out activities, including the EDMS/CDE.
Receive, register, distribute and track incoming and outgoing project documents, transmittals and correspondence.
Maintain accurate document, drawing and transmittal registers with full revision history.
Control issuance of approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical documents
Ensuring superseded documents are withdrawn from use.
Track drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs and technical queries through review, comment, approval, rejection and resubmission.
Verify numbering, naming conventions, revision codes and metadata before submission.
Chase overdue submissions, approvals and responses across client, consultant, contractor and supplier teams.
Maintain registers for RFIs, submittals, material approvals, inspection requests, NCRs and other project records, and support QA/QC with inspection and quality documentation.
Prepare weekly and monthly document control reports and support project audits.
