Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our leadership team in the role of Director – Facilities Support Operations.
Provides administrative decision making, leadership, and strategic planning including the efficient and productive use of staff, materials, and financial resources. Directs and leads support services functions and teams based on regional structure such as but not limited to areas of EVS, Food and Nutrition, Patient Transport, Communications, Facilities, Central Plant, and Clinical Engineering. Responsible for services provided at assigned facilities within respective region.
Key Relationships
Reports to: Vice President – Chief Operating Officer, North (Lafayette)
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
Requires 8+ years of relevant experience.
Requires 4 years of people leader experience.
Requires Employee Relations experience, including managing leaders as well as teams.
Requires experience facilitating physician/provider relationships.
Experience working in a Plant or Facility related field or hospital administrative role is preferred.
