Prepare bulk earthworks platforms, grading plans, and cut-and-fill models using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Design internal roads, parking areas, stormwater systems, and water and sewer reticulation, including municipal tie-ins.
Coordinate civil services with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire, and landscape designs.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, tender documentation, and quantities.
Support site-development-plan reviews, service-capacity assessments, and municipal submissions.
Provide construction-stage design support, including responding to technical queries and site inspections where required.
Manage allocated design tasks, programme, budget, and quality to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
Support client engagement, proposals, and work-winning activities.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
BEng, BSc, or BTech in Civil Engineering.
Registration as a Candidate Engineer or Candidate Engineering Technologist with ECSA.
Approximately 3–5 years' relevant civil design experience, preferably on commercial, residential, retail, or mixed-use developments.
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
Demonstrable design experience in earthworks, roads, stormwater, water, and sewer infrastructure.
Working knowledge of municipal approval processes and applicable South African design standards.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills, with sound engineering judgement and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and technical report writing skills.
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams and to plan work and meet deadlines.
ADVANTAGEOUS
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or equivalent common-data environments.
