What Value This Role Will Bring

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as a key point of contact for DMC customers by providing product information, processing orders and quotes, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role plays an important part in supporting customer satisfaction while coordinating with internal teams to deliver timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and assist with switchboard coverage as needed
• Manage website chat inquiries related to products, orders, quotes, and general questions
• Create customer quotes and provide inventory availability information
• Review and qualify customer purchase orders
• Process and enter orders accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Resolve customer concerns and follow through to ensure successful resolution
• Partner with internal departments to support company and customer goals
• Maintain accurate customer account and order records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Minimum 1 year of phone-based customer support experience with strong active listening skills
• Minimum 1 year of order processing experience from customer purchase orders
• Understanding of inventory and shipping practices
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience working with ERP or order management systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour

• Orlando, FL; On-site attendance required
• Business hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• PPE required (safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas)
