ATCO – PRODUCTION LEAD – Assembly (Crawfordsville, IN) – Onsite 2nd Shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
POSITION SUMMARY
ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Production LEAD who has exceptional supervisory and leadership skills to lead a production team of 35-50 hourly employees in Crawfordsville, Indiana. This position will supervise and monitor employees’ productivity and oversee the safe use of equipment in a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBLITY
Responsible for the quality, production output, and efficiencies of machines.
Meet or exceed all production schedules and set goals
Assign responsibilities to production employees and monitor their performance
Coordinates with Plant manager and other supervisors to resolve production challenges, recommends improvements to processes, and ensures alignment with organizational goals
Serves as the shift leader, motivates and guides employees to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency.
Conducts and supports hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions; manages production schedules and ensures all records are accurate and up to date
Ensure all employees are trained to work safely and efficiently
Effectively counsel employees per company policies
Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations
Maintain production equipment running and reduce unplanned downtime
Monitor, control and reduce scrap or waste
Motive employees to achieve production targets
Promote a positive and safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Manager

Electrical and Mechanically inclined

Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and inventory control
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
