About the role
Description
This position requires Team Members to ride in and operate a ten-ton bridge crane. A magnet is used to load the pre-heat conveyors for both plant one and plant two. The Crane Operator communicates with the furnace operator to ensure the proper charge make up. The Crane Operator also moves and sorts loads of casting returns and purchased steel scrap.
1st shift = $21.69
2nd shift = $22.94
3rd shift = $22.69

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to see and pass an eye test (Crane Operator Requirement).
- Ability to climb two flights of stairs
- Ability to work more than 15 feet in air while operating crane
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; or, occasionally more.
- Ability to work in high heat environments and around molten metal.
- Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
- Ability to work weekends.
