About the Role
Sol-Up is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Verification Agent to support our solar sales and contract operations teams. This role is responsible for verifying contract accuracy, completing customer verification calls, collecting and validating required documentation, processing down payments, and ensuring all contract-related tasks are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple CRM, lender, and contract management systems while maintaining compliance with established processes and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Nevada Contract Verification: Complete verification calls for Nevada contracts within 48 hours of contract signing. Review each contract thoroughly and follow the appropriate verification script to confirm the accuracy of contract details and ensure customers understand their agreements.
- California Contract Processing: Complete and close required contract tasks in PISA for California contracts. Assign power bill and property ownership verification tasks, ensuring all required documentation and follow-up items are properly handled.
- Contract Process Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the end-to-end solar contract process, contract requirements, and applicable procedures for both Nevada and California.
- Customer Communication: Answer customer questions during verification calls, explain contract details clearly, and provide additional support for complex agreements, particularly NCA prepaid Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Contract Modification Verification: Conduct updated verification calls whenever a contract is modified after PSS. Ensure a new verification call is completed for every contract modification, including multiple revisions to the same contract.
- Down Payment Collection and Reconciliation: Collect down payments from cash-paying customers through Clover, check deposits, or cash. Accurately record each transaction in PISA and coordinate with Accounting to ensure proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Utility Bill Collection and Validation: Obtain the customer's power bill when it has not already been collected by the call center or Energy Consultant (EC). Verify that the information matches the customer and contract details.
- Property Ownership Verification: Confirm property ownership for every applicable contract and ensure ownership documentation and details are accurate and consistent with the contract.
- Documentation and Task Management: Confirm that all required documents and verification steps are completed before advancing a contract. Upload verification call recordings, power bills, and ownership documentation to the appropriate systems, add completion notes, and close corresponding tasks in PISA.
- CRM and Lender Portal Management: Maintain proficiency in navigating and using relevant CRM, solar design, and lender platforms, including PISA, Sunbase, OpenSolar, ENFIN, and Palmetto.
- Accuracy and Compliance: Maintain organized and accurate contract records, identify missing or inconsistent information, and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve discrepancies and prevent processing delays.
