Clothing Department Team Member

We are searching for a few more staff members to join our Clothing Department at Hope Gospel Mission! In this role, you will process clothing donations for sorting and merchandising. The ideal candidate has an excellent work ethic and will thrive in helping to maintain a faith-based, healthy, and intentional work environment. Position Objective: Process incoming donations in preparation for final sorting and merchandising.

Classification: Either full-time (greater than 30 weekly hours) or part-time (less than 30 weekly hours) are available

Supervisor: Store Manager

Experience, Education, Requirements:

• Good work ethic

• Interest or experience in working with reusable goods

• Coaching, teaching, or teamwork experience desired

• Communicate professionally and clearly

• Ability to take directions from Supervisor

Summary of Responsibility – Illustrative, not all inclusive:

• Receive and/or sort donations for display on the sales floor

• Lead and supervise Vocational Training participants and volunteers

• Set an excellent example for others to follow

• Make decisions quickly

• Motivated to accomplish and exceed, required tasks

• Represent a Christian organization

• Get along well with others from varied backgrounds

• Assist in maintaining intentional, faith-based, healthy, healing community and code of conduct.

• Pay based on qualified candidate experience and performance
