Description
Holy Angels Catholic School is seeking caring, dependable individuals to assist with our Extended Day program that runs M-F
2:30 -5:30 PM. Helpers provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for students after school. This is a flexible position for individuals who are available to work occasionally or on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Engage children in games, crafts, and other age-appropriate activities.
- Assist students with snacks, homework, and daily routines as needed.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
- Help with setup, cleanup, and organization of the Extended Day space.
- Work cooperatively with other Extended Day staff and follow school procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, kindness, and good judgment.
- Be dependable, responsible, and able to supervise groups of children.
- Communicate positively with students, parents, and coworkers.
- Complete all required diocesan safe environment training and background checks before beginning work.
- Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required.
