About the role
Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas, located in Point Comfort, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Chief Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept 8 year work experience in the field of Electrical Engineering. Job duties include designing and implementing digital soft starters and inverters, designing and implementing grounding and cathodic protection, designing protection relay setting in high voltage electrical system, troubleshooting protection relay setting in high voltage electrical system, designing, testing, installing, starting-up, and commissioning the substations, designing and implementing transformers, designing setting for variable frequency drives, and designing wiring list.
