The role  

As a C++, C Lead Developer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 8+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture 

  • Drive technical roadmap: Oversee the architecture, low-level design, and full-lifecycle development of sophisticated C++ solutions. 
  • Maintain engineering excellence: Establish coding standards, drive rigorous code reviews, and champion engineering best practices (TDD, CI/CD, automation). 
  • System optimization: Diagnose system bottlenecks, debug complex low-level threading issues, and optimize application memory and runtime performance. 

  Team Management & Collaboration 

  • Mentor and guide: Act as a technical mentor to mid-level and junior C++ developers, fostering continuous skill development. 
  • Cross-functional alignment: Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and senior leadership to align engineering outcomes with broader business goals. 
  • Project Delivery: Help scope sprints, mitigate technical risks, and ensure predictable, high-quality software releases. 

   
  Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a technical lead or mentoring capacity.
  • Core Expertise: Exceptional proficiency in Modern C++ (C++14, C++17, or C++20) alongside deep knowledge of standard library containers and algorithms. 
  • Systems & Design: Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), design patterns, memory management, multi-threading, and Inter-Process Communication (IPC). 
  • Environment: Extensive experience developing and debugging in Linux/Unix or Windows environments using tools like CMake, GCC/Clang, or Visual Studio. 
  • Methodologies: Proven track record working within Agile / Scrum development workflows. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly technical related field. 

   

  Preferred / "Nice-to-Have" Skills 

  • Experience with low-level network programming, sockets, or specific hardware/embedded protocols. 
  • Familiarity with package managers like Conan or vcpkg. 
  • Knowledge of integrating C++ modules with high-level languages (Python, Node.js).
