- Delivery and expediting coordination: Monitor purchase order progress and supplier commitments to help ensure materials and equipment are delivered in accordance with agreed project schedules. Proactively identify potential delivery delays and escalate risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Quality and compliance: Ensure that purchased materials, equipment and services meet specified quality standards, technical requirements and applicable procurement procedures. Work with relevant project and quality teams to address discrepancies and support corrective actions.
- Invoice verification and payment support: Review supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery documentation and agreed commercial terms. Provide the required approvals and supporting documentation to facilitate accurate and timely invoice processing.
- Procurement documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase order information, supplier correspondence and supporting documentation. Provide updates on assigned procurement activities, supplier performance and delivery status as required.
- Issue resolution and risk management: Identify routine procurement challenges, assess available options and recommend practical solutions. Escalate complex commercial, technical, quality or delivery matters to the Procurement Manager or relevant senior personnel.
- Continuous improvement: Apply established procurement processes, systems and tools effectively, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and service delivery.
- Team collaboration and support: Work collaboratively with project teams, Supply Management colleagues and other internal stakeholders. Where appropriate, provide guidance to junior team members and support the coordination and review of assigned activities.
