About the role
Windsor Skilled Nursing is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Business Office Manager to oversee daily business office operations. If you enjoy working with numbers, keeping accounts accurate, and helping residents and families navigate billing questions, we’d like to hear from you.
Reporting to the Administrator, you’ll manage billing, collections, payment processing, and financial records while working closely with our accounting team and department leaders.
Windsor has served the community since 1975, providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. As part of Integritus Healthcare, we offer generous paid time off, health insurance, and opportunities to grow your career.
What you’ll do
• Manage accounts receivable, prepare reports, follow up on outstanding balances, and bring delinquent accounts to the Administrator’s attention.
• Prepare and send billing statements according to established procedures.
• Receive and post payments, issue receipts, balance daily receipts, and provide supporting records to accounting.
• Update resident accounts and ledgers to maintain accurate financial records.
• Review invoices, prepare vouchers, process accounts payable records, and maintain organized documentation.
• Manage facility petty cash.
• Answer resident and family billing questions with patience, professionalism, and respect.
• Prepare reports and provide administrative support to the Administrator and department managers.
• Order office supplies and coordinate office equipment maintenance and postage needs.
• Participate in department manager meetings and provide reception coverage when needed.
• Follow facility policies and applicable federal and state requirements while protecting confidential information.
What you’ll bring
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working in a long-term care setting.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfort working with numbers, maintaining financial records, and using computers and office software.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with residents, families, and coworkers.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and frequent interruptions.
• Previous experience working with older adults is preferred.
