The Times-Picayune is seeking a business editor to join its award-winning New Orleans newsroom. In this role, you’ll manage our growing business desk, overseeing coverage of economic development, major industries like oil & gas, hospitality and manufacturing. This is a critical position in a state that’s seen an investment boom in recent years and has a deep bench of emerging business leaders, but still struggles to generate new jobs, raise incomes and attract residents. This editor will collaborate closely with reporters and editors in our sister newsrooms across Louisiana, and will also be tasked with growing the reach of our business coverage across platforms.
