BOILER & REFRIGERATION MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR I B SHIFT

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for daily reliability tasks.

· Responsible for preventative maintenance.

· Prioritize work orders and schedule mechanics according to the immediacy and necessity of orders.

· Monitor all production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery.

· Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment.

· Participate in the HAZMAT team to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

· Promote and encourage safety in all aspects of maintenance.

· Arrange for completion of required paperwork, such as payroll.

· Monitor and maintain the refrigeration equipment, production equipment, and boiler systems through routine checks, lubrication of equipment, and repair/replacement of parts as needed.

· Maintains appropriate records and reports.

· Complies with all OSHA and company safety standards and policies

· Attend meetings as scheduled.

WORK CONDITIONS

· Work 40+ hours per week on the production floor, including weekend work and rotating shifts as needed.

· Possible exposure to slippery floors, extreme temperature variations, loud noise, chemicals, sharp objects (knives), machinery, and vehicles.

REQUIREMENTS

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of 3-5 years of background experience in general industrial maintenance

· General knowledge of machinery in a plant that applies to the industry

· Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. Bilingual preferred, not required.

· Ability to prioritize activities.

· Capable of providing leadership/motivation to engage employees in the business.

· Strong computer skills.

· Interpersonal skills
