What you'll do

• Prepare and bake desserts and other menu items for resident meals.

• Assist with meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

• Follow daily menus, production sheets, standardized recipes, and special dietary requirements.

• Prepare cold foods, side dishes, and other items needed for meal service.

• Keep the tray line refrigerator stocked, organized, and ready for service.

• Assist morning and evening cooks with food preparation as needed.

• Help serve meals on the tray line and in the dining room.

• Assist with setting tables, serving residents, and clearing dining areas when needed.

• Wash, clean, and properly store pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following food safety standards.

• Work closely with team members to ensure residents receive quality meals and excellent service.

Who we are looking for:

• Someone who enjoys baking, cooking, and preparing quality food.

• A dependable team player with a positive attitude.

• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and food presentation.

• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions.

• Previous cooking, baking, or food service experience preferred.

• Healthcare food service experience is a plus, but not required!
