What You'll Do
As an Automotive Express/Maintenance Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping customer vehicles operating safely and efficiently while developing the technical skills needed for long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and multi-point inspections
- Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and wiper blades
- Perform additional maintenance services as directed by management
- Inspect, replace, and replenish vehicle fluids as necessary
- Check and adjust tire pressures
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Work with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and materials
- Document all work performed on repair orders
- Maintain customer vehicles with care and professionalism
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Follow OSHA, environmental, and dealership safety guidelines
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or shop hazards immediately
Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Preferred
- Previous Express Technician experience
- Automotive maintenance experience
- Automotive technical school education
- Desire to pursue manufacturer certifications and long-term career growth
