FOX News Media is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager, CRM to help build and deepen relationships with our news audience across FOX News Digital and related products. You will help run personalized, Braze-powered programs across email, push, and in-app messaging, using first-party behavioral data to make every touchpoint more relevant and timely.
You will work with Product, Data, Editorial, and Growth, with guidance from senior CRM leadership, and your work will show up in audience engagement, loyalty, and the health of our owned channels.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
- Our audience and first-party data give you room to test fast and act on what you learn.
- You build and launch real campaigns and journeys, from segmentation through analysis, with exposure to senior leadership.
- Braze as our enterprise engagement platform, with a dedicated Data and Analytics partnership.
- You learn alongside Product, Editorial, and Engineering and see how customer experiences are shaped, not just the messages.
- Contribute to engagement strategy across onboarding, habit formation, re-engagement, and loyalty for our news audience.
- Help track and drive progress against engagement targets, such as click-through, return visits, and content consumption driven by owned channels.
- Build, QA, and launch multi-channel campaigns, newsletters, and automated journeys in Braze (Canvas, Segments, Connected Content, Liquid, Catalogs, Content Cards) across email, push, and in-app.
- Help develop and maintain segments from demographic, behavioral, and first-party data, and work with Data and Engineering to power personalization.
- Set up and run A/B and multivariate tests, and summarize results and learnings, including flagging tactics that are not working.
- Build reporting and analysis that shows what is working, what is not, and what to try next.
- Support campaigns tied to product launches and editorial priorities, working with Product, Editorial, Growth, Design, and Analytics.
- Help manage send volume and frequency across channels, including breaking news alerts, to protect engagement and limit opt-outs and fatigue.
- Use automation and AI responsibly to scale personalization, content variation, and workflow efficiency, with human review wherever editorial judgment or brand standards are involved.
- Ensure every campaign meets brand, legal, and privacy requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 2+ years of CRM, email, lifecycle, or engagement marketing experience; news, media, or other high-frequency digital product experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns or journeys in Braze or a comparable platform (Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, etc.)
- Working knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing
- Familiarity with marketing automation and AI-enabled tools, with sound judgment about where human oversight is needed
- Ability to interpret performance data and turn it into optimization recommendations focused on engagement and audience growth
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple tasks at once
- Clear communicator who works well with both technical and non-technical partners
- Braze experience specifically, including Connected Content and Liquid
- Experience in news, media, publishing, or streaming, ideally in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) and analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics)
- Familiarity with CDPs and first-party data concepts
- Exposure to applying AI to CRM, such as generative tools for message variants or the predictive and optimization features in Braze
- Familiarity with privacy regulations such as CCPA and CAN-SPAM
