About the role
The Assistant Producer – Spa & Recreation (Assistant Spa Manager) will partner with the Director to lead the Promus‑Spa department, ensuring operational excellence, revenue growth, and unforgettable guest experiences. You will coach a multicultural team, develop innovative wellness offerings, and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and service across all spa and recreation activities.
- Support day‑to‑day operations and leadership of the Spa & Recreation department.
- Drive revenue, maximize profitability and assist in achieving budget targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Spa & Recreation cast through training, scheduling and performance reviews.
- Coordinate team meetings, duty rosters and ongoing staff development initiatives.
- Ensure consistently exceptional guest experiences and uphold service standards.
- Develop and promote innovative spa experiences, special promotions and value‑added services.
- Monitor and implement the latest spa, wellness and recreation trends.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene and licensing requirements.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints, building strong relationships and ensuring resolution.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Experience working within a culturally diverse team.
- Hospitality, Leisure or Tourism degree (or equivalent qualification).
- Certified Beautician and Masseur.
- Health & Safety certification.
- ITEC certification and/or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Strong leadership abilities with commercial awareness.
- Guest‑service mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness, fitness, nutrition and retail products.
