About the role
DELI LEAD: Hourly Lead Person in Market Deli and responsible for its day-to-day operation. This person's primary duties are to supervise the Market Deli staff including customer service, employee relations, training and orientation, scheduling, ordering, pricing, merchandising, stocking, organizing promotions and product demonstrations, suggestive selling, rotation, record keeping, inventory [Backstock Control], price maintenance, housekeeping, and sanitation. Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.
Availability: Must be available to be scheduled 35+hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs
Personal Qualifications: demonstrated leadership abilities; thorough knowledge of deli merchandise & food prep requirements required.
Physical Demands: repetitive lifting to 40#; occasional lifting to 60#.
Other Work Considerations: customer service orientation; leadership skills; employee relations; growth potential; reliable, dependable.

• Non Exempt Hourly position
• 40 hours per week Store hours, some evenings and weekends
