Assembly Technician Level IV

We are looking for highly qualified candidates to support an engineering and technical services contract located at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) facility in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include assembling qualification hardware, flight hardware, and test equipment; use appropriate facilities in the development and testing of space hardware and systems; assist engineers and analysts during spacecraft test, integration, and launch activities providing feedback based on knowledge and experience in assembling flight hardware; fabricate and assemble test fixtures and space system structures, mechanisms, and subassemblies from engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions; read and interpret drawings and blueprints; operate power and hand tools utilized in the aerospace environment; plan, process, and assemble hardware from blueprints, procedures, and verbal instructions; provide expertise to Journeyman Assembly Technicians.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum Associate's degree in a degree field of technical certificate in mechanical assembly, or military technical training with an additional 20 years of experience assembling flight hardware.
Clearance Requirements:
- Position requires Top Secret clearance
- Please note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
Salary Range:
- $65,000 - $85,000
