About the role
You will support CHAGEE’s store expansion across APAC by evaluating new sites and tracking how opened stores perform against plan. Your analysis directly informs which locations we commit to.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain store-level financial models, covering sales forecasts, capex, P&L, payback and IRR, for new site proposals.
- Prepare feasibility assessments using footfall, catchment, competitor and rental benchmarks to support go/no-go decisions.
- Prepare investment memos and presentation materials for internal approval committees.
- Track newly opened stores against their investment case and flag underperformers with root-cause analysis.
- Maintain market databases (rents, sales benchmarks, store pipeline) for assigned markets.
- Work with landlords, agents, and internal teams (Development, Finance, Operations) to gather data and validate assumptions.
- Contribute to improving templates, dashboards and team processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business or a related field.
- 2–5 years in investment analysis, real estate, retail or F&B expansion, corporate finance, or consulting.
- Strong Excel modelling skills and clear, concise PowerPoint storytelling.
- Comfortable working with imperfect data and making reasoned assumptions.
- Able to manage multiple site evaluations in parallel under tight timelines.
- Willing to travel regionally.
Nice to have
- Experience in multi-site retail or F&B expansion.
- CFA (any level) or a similar qualification.
- Familiarity with one or more APAC markets
