Actuarial Analyst

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or any other major with quantitative course work.

• Actively pursuing actuarial exams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data compilation, validation, reconciliation and analysis.

• Analysis for reserving for technical provisions.

• Analysis for pricing and underwriting review.

• Analysis for solvency review.

• Support on other actuarial tasks.

• Support on producing IFRS 17 disclosures, performing reviews and validation against IFRS 4.

• Reinsurance analysis and support.

• Other general consulting work.

• Any development work assigned from time to time.

Skills:

• Good expertise in MS Office (excel and power point in particular).

• Fair knowledge of software such as SAS, R etc..

• Experience of working for the GCC / Middle East market will be an advantage.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
