About the role
We are part of the MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System ) Developer Journey and develop the PMT (Product Methods & Tools) Solution, the central platform that provides vehicle engineers at Mercedes-Benz with the processes, methods, and tools they need for their daily work.
Our goal is to replace complex development workflows with lean, tool-supported processes that make vehicle engineering more efficient.
We are looking for someone who understands AI (Artificial Intelligence), not just uses it.
These challenges await You:
- Develop and integrate AI (Artificial Intelligence) components (LLM agents, RAG pipelines, API integrations) into existing platforms
- Develop software using TypeScript in modern technology stacks (NestJS, Vue 3), including testing and code reviews
- Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from technical design through deployment
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions as a full member of the team
You'll work directly in the product team, not in a sandbox — your code ships to production.
We expect you to reason about your decisions, not just prompt your way through them.
The activity can begin from December 2026.
