SHOP FOREMAN- DETAIL CENTER

POSITION SUMMARY

To be successful in this position the daily actions carried out must support the Detail Shop Culture of a firm, fair and fun working environment for all employees. Works closely with all management to evaluate technician performance then applies that knowledge; working with each technician to develop training paths that are custom designed for each technician. Monitors technician performance and works to manage each job in the shop to ensure a maximum return. Communicates effectively and accurately the status of all jobs to Used Truck Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

 Assist in Hiring, training motivating and counseling all detail technicians  Ensure all detail technicians work safely, maintain a professional appearance and complies with all company policies  Complete monthly technician performance reviews with each individual detail technician  Dispatch work to detail technicians ensuring all steps of the detail process are followed  Ensure the quality all of work performed  Review accuracy of all paperwork  Foster teamwork within and outside the department  Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

• Reports to Used Truck Director

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Required • Detail Shop experience; Minimum 3 yrs

REQUIRED SKILLS

 Effective Communicator  High level of organizational skills  Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Excel
